How will we know if the Tribulation has started? There will be several signs. Recently I read a book by Michael Snyder called the 7yr Apocalypse. In his book he wrote about 3 signs to watch for, I believe there will be more. The first is God’s confirmation with Israel that we read about in Daniel. Scholars have always believed that this is the 7yr Peace Treaty with Israel. This entire theory comes from a single verse in the Bible. When you examine the original language that it is written in, this theory quickly falls apart. This theory could lead many believers into misunderstanding where we are on God’s timeline. When will the Resurrection a.k.a Rapture take place?
We are living in unprecedented times. I truly believe we are the generation that will see the events that are described in the book of Revelation. I know some have been taught that the “Church will be raptured before that Tribulation begins”, and when I was growing up this is what I was taught too. I honestly don’t believe that the scriptures point to this as being a Truth though. When our church started studying the Jewish roots of Christianity and learning about the Jewish Feasts, Adonai showed us how this teaching was incorrect and lead us into believing in the Post-Tribulation rapture. I must say I do not believe we are going to be here for God’s wrath though. Now those that believe in Pre-Trib please don’t stop reading, please hear me out! It concerns me that so many are taught this theology because I am afraid that believers are being mislead into not looking for signs of the end times. I am afraid that they have been lulled to sleep and are going to freak out when they find themselves in the middle of the chaos of the Tribulation and having to make a decision on taking the Mark of the Beast. I have heard many Pre-Tribers say that they are surprised they haven’t been raptured yet. I am concerned that Pre-Tribers will be a part of the great Apostasy, yelling at their former pastors for lying to them, and turning their backs on their faith. In Fact the Pre-Tribulation Rapture teaching is a new one, it has only been taught around the last 200 years, the Apostles that wrote the New Testament and the early believers, believed in a Post Tribulation Rapture.

God has His own calendar and it is very different from ours. I fully believe that to understand the Bible and End Times prophecy, you must understand His calendar and His feasts. In Leviticus 23 we can read: “The Lord Said to Moses, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.”
I want you to think about what this says…. These are God’s appointed times, the Moedim, HIS appointed Feasts or festivals. The Most High has set apart precious times to meet with His beloved Bride. I believe we should observe them in some way. Yeshua/Jesus came and gave us a full understanding and fulfillment of the springtime feasts with His 1st coming. Jesus fulfilled the 4 spring time feast with His sacrifice on (Pesach) Passover, death and burial on Unleavened bread, the resurrection on First fruits, and He sent the Holy Spirit to us on Pentecost. He has promised to fulfill the fall feasts with Yeshua’s 2nd Coming. We believe Rosh Hashanah is the Resurrection of the Bride, the Days of Awe will be the Millennial Reign, Yom Kippur will be the Day of Judgment, and Succoth will be the New Heaven and New Earth. God’s appointed times are always about remembering something, but they are also about looking forward on what is to come.

I don’t know how many of my readers have heard about the Temple Institute in Israel. The Temple Institute is an organization that is working on building the 3rd Temple. They have already made the vessels and instruments that will go inside the Temple, they have built the stone alter for sacrifices and are actually practicing sacrifices for the time when the Temple is built. What is extremely exciting is they have at least 4 (as of this moment of writing) candidates of RED HEIFERS!!!!
Hoshana Rabba, Shemini Atzeret, & Simchat Torah
The 7thday of Sukkot is Hoshana Rabba and is the climax of the feast. Hoshana Rabba is all about the #7 & completing the purposes of God. 7 = completion/fullness/ending in the Bible. Sukkot takes place in the 7thmonth, it has 7 days. All the sacrifices for the feast of Sukkot or divisible by 7 & Hoshana Rabba has 7 sacrifices on that day. Just like all the other feasts in the fall being linked to the End Times and Revelation, so is Hoshana Rabba. And Revelation is also all about the # 7 too! 7 angels, 7 lampstands, 7 bowls, 7 seals, 7 trumpets.
Feast of Sukkot, Tabernacles, Booths, or Ingathering
LEVITICUS 2333 Adonai said to Moshe, 34 “Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of Sukkot for seven days to Adonai. 35 On the first day there is to be a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work. 36 For seven days you are to bring an offering made by fire to Adonai; on the eighth day you are to have a holy convocation and bring an offering made by fire to Adonai; it is a day of public assembly; do not do any kind of ordinary work.
39 “ ‘But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered the produce of the land, you are to observe the festival of Adonai seven days; the first day is to be a complete rest and the eighth day is to be a complete rest. 40 On the first day you are to take choice fruit, palm fronds, thick branches, and river-willows, and celebrate in the presence of Adonai your God for seven days. 41 You are to observe it as a feast to Adonai seven days in the year; it is a permanent regulation, generation after generation; keep it in the seventh month. 42 You are to live in sukkot for seven days; every citizen of Isra’el is to live in a sukkah, 43 so that generation after generation of you will know that I made the people of Isra’el live in sukkot when I brought them out of the land of Egypt; I am Adonai your God.
