Dangers of Homeopathy

I used to be involved in homeopathic remedies when I was bedridden with Fibromyalgia, degenerative disk disease, Scoliosis, & chronic pain. I was going to a homeopathic doctor at this time and did not realize until years later that I was opening myself up to demons, and making my painful situation even worse than it was. To understand why it’s from the occult we have to start at the root of how homeopathy came into being, and afterwards I will tell you my own personal experience with taking these demonic medicines.

Homeopathic medicine was started by Samuel Hahnemann a German physician who lived from 1755 to 1843. He was dissatisfied with medical practices of bloodletting, leaching, purging and found these to be more harmful than helpful to the patient. He started looking for other methods for treating diseases and ended with a concept of “like cures like”. “Like cures like” means that a substance which produces symptoms or sickness in a healthy person in large amounts can be used to treat the same symptoms in an unhealthy person when given in small amounts. Homeopaths believe that Hippocrates was the 1st to use these principles. There were 4 men that were highly influential to Hahnemann’s development of homeopathy; Paracelsus, Swedenborg, Mesmer, & Confucius.

Paracelsus was a Swiss-German physician, botanist, alchemist, and astrologer. He believed that an invisible spirit inhabited minerals and herbs. These spiritual forces were the “5thelement” (the other 4 being water, fire, air, & earth). Paracelsus, like Hahnemann, believed that what makes a person ill will also cure them; substances that are poisonous in large doses are curative when given in small amounts. Paracelsus gave talismans to patients for curing diseases, he invented a special alphabet for writing the names of angels on these talismans and he also gave amulets for all the signs of the zodiac. As an alchemist he knew how to extract the “spiritual forces” from the herbs and minerals. This concept that spirits inhabit trees, rivers, herbs, minerals, animals, etc. is called Animism. These beliefs are consistent with Native American beliefs also called Shamanism. Paracelsus also believed in a universal life giving unifying spirit called the “vital force”.

The 2nd influential man for Hahnemann was Emanuel Swedenborg. A Swedish scientist, philosopher, theologian, clairvoyant, spiritist, angel worshiper, and mystic. Swedenborg used channeling with spirits to obtain information from the dead. The Bible calls this Necromancy. Swedenborg believed that salvation by faith was not scriptural, it was only accomplished by works. He denied the deity of the Holy Spirit, he denied the concept of the Trinity of God and believed that Jesus was the complete and only part of God. He believed the book of Acts and the epistles were not inspired by God, he only accepted the 4 Gospels and Revelation in the New Testament. He also rejected the atonement and the concept of original sin of Adam and believed the last judgment has already taken place but occurred in the spirit world. Swedenborg believed that illness resulted from evil thoughts. He believed that man is a divine being and has the ability to manipulate invisible powers which can be used for healing, and to conquer illness by changing one’s thinking, since illness only exists in the mind. He believed in Vitalism, a belief in an invisible “energy” in the universe and in the body that can be channeled or directed for healing. A “universal force” permeating all is also called vital force, Chi, Qi, Ki, Prana, life energy, vital energy, etc. If you haven’t read my blog on “energy healing” please do, I go into more detail there on this New Age concept. These concepts & actions and beliefs are not consistent with Christian doctrine. In fact, he demonstrates the hidden knowledge of kabbalah, mysticism, clairvoyants, necromancy, and medium activity, he is accepted & heralded as a leader in mysticism and spiritualism.

France Mesmer was the 3rd influential man in Hahnemann’s life. He was a German physician with interest in astronomy. Mesmer was the inventor of mesmerism commonly known today as hypnotism. He believed that there was invisible natural force exerted by animals and inanimate objects. He called this force or energy, animal magnetism. Mesmer thought that this natural energy could be transferred between human beings in a matter that could assist in healing. In his theory, good health occurred when there was a free flow of this energy through the body; illness was caused by a block in this free flow. You may notice this concept is similar to chakra healing, crystals, yoga, acupuncture, and most New Age healing practices. Mesmer believed that when this restoration of energy flow happened it created a “healing crisis or a trance state” in the body. During the “trance state” there were manifestations such as unusual sensations, convulsions, intense heat, trembling, trances, vomiting, delirium, and seizures. This “healing crisis” was thought to bring about a cure. These symptoms of the “healing crisis” are similar to a Kundalini release described in Eastern religions. Homeopaths report that a “healing crisis” may occur in some of their treatments and that this “crisis” may make the patient feel worse in the initial stages. The patients may also experience emotional problems such as weeping or depression. Furthermore, it has been reported that families using homeopathic treatment experience more nervous depression.

As you can see these 3 men are heavily into occult healing; Hahnemann in his own writings in “Oregon of Medicine” & “Art of the cure by Homeopathy: A Modern Textbook” spoke of the similarities between mesmerism and homeopathy. His writings clearly state that he believes in Vital Force or a life energy that lives in all things. He thought that the human body was filled with the spiritual vital force. A healthy body maintains the state of harmonious vital operation. When the person becomes ill, the spiritual or vital force has become disturbed and unbalanced. As a body struggles to regain its balance, symptoms and signs of the sickness or disease are manifested. Homeopathic medicine is based on restoring this vital force or life energy in the body. This is nothing but energy healing similar to Eastern religions and new age techniques. He was a follower of Confucius and rejected Jesus. As a young man he was a member of the Free Masons.

Homeopathic practitioners today consider themselves to be a part of the New Age movement. They’re often found not just practicing homeopathy, but other New Age activities in order to heal their patients. Yoga, meditation, iridology, pendulum swinging (divination), acupuncture, reflexology, astrology, hypnosis, and psychic healings may be combined in a homeopathic setting. They report success in treating problems at all systems of the human body as well as emotional and psychological problems. Homeopathy is a form of “spiritual” healing and therefore they are unable to explain though scientific principles just how these treatments work. Homeopathy is on the same level as witchdoctor remedies. Whoever has received homeopathic remedies has been helped by another god. Homeopaths can only heal when the illness is demonically inflicted in the first place. That is why some remedies work and some don’t on a person. Some people don’t see any results whatsoever, because the sickness doesn’t have a spiritual root. The devil is capable of healing (EX 7:11, 2 THESS 2:9), but whenever he helps someone in one area, he will rob him in another, causing spiritual coldness, psychiatric problems, and other negative effects. Essentially you are giving the devil and his demonic entities legal rights to enter your body and wreak havoc. Even if you are a Christian, you are opening up the door to the devil and giving him permission to enter your body. Once you give Satan legal rights to your body the only way to change this is to repent and receive deliverance. Seeking healing from the occult or New Age practices is the same as calling upon another god for healing instead of calling upon Jesus who died on the cross for our healing. Essentially this is what the Bible considers Idolatry.

Let’s get back to how homeopathy supposedly works. “Like cures like” means that a substance which produces symptoms or sickness in a healthy person in large amounts can be used to treat the same symptoms in an unhealthy person when given in small amounts. The law of potency is very confusing, for the remedy to work it has to be diluted many many MANY times. According to Hahnemann during this preparation, dilution isn’t just the main goal, “imprinting energetic information from the original substance into the diluting liquid during the stages of succession” is the most important act. Succession is the process of vigorously shaking the diluted substance and hitting it against a rubber pad with the emphasis on the downward stroke. This shaking releases a spirit, and when ingested is curative by revitalizing the body’s “vital Force” to bring about healing. Hahnemann states that the healing property of the medicine was not in the substance itself, but in the “energy” that was released in the potency process.

Homeopathic remedies are measured by two methods, either a C (centesimal) or X. These symbols reveal the ratio of the dilution of the original base substance. The numbers before the C or X indicate how much the remedy was diluted. The curative substance is diluted in alcohol and water and allowed to sit for up to 6 months. Then one drop of this mother tincture is diluted in 99 drops of alcohol and water and then shaken (successed). The medicine is now considered a 1C or 1X. The process is repeated and you get a 2C or 2X, and so on and so on. The most common potencies are 30, 200, 1000, 10,000, 100,000, or even greater. Homeopaths believe that the greater the potency ingested releases a greater “energy”. It is scientifically proven that potencies beyond 12C have NO traces of the original substance, there is not a single molecule present. For example, if you take a remedy of the potency of 6C the amount of the original substance would equal a pinch of salt dropped into 45 gallons of water. If you were to take a dose of 12C the equivalent of that would be a pinch of salt in BOTH the North and South Atlantic Oceans. To believe that a solution emptied of the original substance is effective, is beyond reason. This proves that this form of medicine is a “spiritual” healing, and Hahnemann himself stated this numerous times.

I want to be clear that this medicine is not from God. These medicines are spiritual healings and these spiritual healings do not come from spirit of Jesus; these are spirits of demons and must be avoided at all cost. There are many reasons why people are drawn to homeopathic treatments. People are looking for a holistic health treatment, the remedies are pretty cheap, they are told it’s all natural, & people want a doctor that they can connect with. A homeopathic doctor is going to spend a whole lot more time with getting to know the patient and a lot of people feel like they care more than most normal doctors because they have a longer session with them.

A very high percentage of homeopathic doctors use the pendulum. The pendulum is swayed over a list of homeopathic remedies that are possibilities for the patient. The remedy prescribed is based on where the pendulum comes to rest. They also diagnose based on zodiac or astrology, these are all forms of divination. Some even report that they gained their knowledge for diagnosis through mediums or spirits of the dead which is what the Bible calls necromancy. I am not sure what my old doctor used to do. He would go through all the questions on his computer and narrow it down between 2 or 3 remedies, then would disappear to his office for a while and come back with a remedy. It’s possible he was using some form of the above mentioned divination to come to the conclusion of what remedy to prescribe. I do not want to say for certain that he was using this technique, but it is possible. Other homeopathic practitioners say they ensure their remedies will work by putting magic spells on them. This is blatant witchcraft. God expressly tells us to avoid these types of practices. Deuteronomy 18:When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. 13 You must be blameless before the Lord your God.

Most homeopathic doctors do not necessarily look at the physical symptoms the person is complaining about. They will try to heal a person based on their emotions or what is going on spiritually inside that person. My Homeopathic doctor was this way. He believed he could cure my Fibromyalgia by treating my emotions. I was referred to this doctor because this was an “all natural form of treatment”. Some of the remedies would work and some of them wouldn’t. Some remedies would make other symptoms worse. The last treatment I received from my doctor was Nux Vomica. If you look up Nux Vomica you will find that it is a poisonous plant! In fact a lot of the remedies prescribed are from poisonous plants, some are made from urine and fecal matter as well! These remedies tend to have the spirit of death attached to them. The doctor gave me a small dose of 30C at first. I had a “good reaction” to it, so he bumped me up to 300C. Now this is an extremely high dose. Most people do not get doses past 30C. Upon taking this 300C dose I had what Mesmer would call a “healing crisis”. It was horrific and I was in absolute misery. I had the worst rage I ever had in my life. I would explode on people because the rage was uncontrollable, I would scream and yell afterward I then would have a moment where I would just start wailing in deep depression. My emotions would range from rage to depression in a matter of minutes and my insomnia was horrific. I was only getting 3 hours of sleep a night, I could barely stand or do anything. This was at a critical point in my life because I was in so much pain I called the doctor and consulted with him over the phone and he told me to take more! I took more and got worse. I called again and consulted with him over the phone he told me to take sleeping pills so that I could get some sleep and told me to keep taking the doses that he had prescribed for me. He wanted me to take doses every week at the 300C level. Of course I stopped because this healing crisis was unbearable. I started doing research myself and started taking the antidotes to this Nux Vomica medicine. I ended up taking 6 different antidotes and still never was fully rid of this rage, depression, & insomnia rollercoaster until God miraculously healed me with deliverance. As you can imagine I never returned to that doctor and I’m glad I didn’t because I can only imagine what state I would have been in if I’d continued going to him.

There are 2 kingdoms in existence in this world; God’s and Satan’s. We must always be sure that the source of our deliverance and healing is through Jesus and not from the occult. If you submit to homeopathic treatment you are essentially submitting yourself to Satan’s Kingdom to receive the healing that you should receive from Jesus. This form of New Age healing opens a person up to demonic influence and could consequently make their situation worse than how they started. If you yourself have been involved in any form of New Age or Eastern Mysticism healing, then you need to repent and find a team to perform deliverance on you. If you aren’t already a born again Christian, you will need water baptism, deliverance and the baptism of the Holy Spirit to be completely free from these demons and get True healing from Jesus.

God has given us many scriptures in the Old and New Testament warning us about participating in these occult practices. He warns us because He loves us and wants to protect us and keep us from harm. Unfortunately, Satan’s kingdom and forms of healings are becoming more and more available and acceptable. Most Christians don’t do research before they seek these forms of healings. I used to be one of them. Most Christians don’t accept the Truth that Demons even exist, and that saddens me, because they essentially don’t believe what the Bible says. They don’t believe in Jesus fully, because that was one of Jesus’ ministries while he was here on Earth. He cast out demons to heal the sick and he commanded His believers to do so.

Mark 16: 15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.17 And these signswill accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

This isn’t a command to just the disciples, He declared that those who BELIEVE will do these things. Many Christians claim that these practices “aren’t for today”, but Jesus himself never mentions in this scripture or any other scripture that these practices were to ever end. So here is a question to those who call themselves Christians… Do you Believe?
