I was raised to study the Jewish roots of my Christianity. Why?  Because as a Christian that is what I have. We are grafted into Judaism, Judaism is the ROOT of Christianity. I honestly believe, and have found out from personal experience, that when I read my Bible from some “Christian Perspectives”, it really doesn’t make much sense. However, when I read the Bible from a Jewish perspective, so many little details and a deeper understanding takes place. I also look at the Bible from this perspective because Jesus/Yeshua was a Jew, and He was observant Jew. How can we understand His teachings if we don’t know who He was or Is? Just because He died on the cross doesn’t mean He stopped being Jewish.  Continue reading →
