12-7-14 Dream:  I was amongst mountains, in snow skiing suit. I was skiing up this mountain. I don’t ski. Ever. EVER. If you asked me to try skiing, I would probably laugh at you. I am way too clutzy to even consider it. So here I was on this snowy mountain trying to ski UP IT! Oh it was such a long arduous trek. I worked and toiled until I reached the top, when I reached the top I looked up and saw this huge Giant person, I mean huge, His head was the size of the mountain alone! I started to open my mouth to ask a question, and he reached up with his giant hand and flicked me off!

I was flicked off that mountain top! How rude! I went flying through the air and landed on another mountain. So I did that same thing, worked and toiled to get to the top to ask my question. Every time I reached the top I was flicked off. I was so frustrated. I had been flicked off about 6 times! I was tired of being flicked! Stop Flicking me! I Just simply wanted to even get the word WAIT out. The next trip up, I said it as I was reaching the top I FINALLY got it out. I screamed WAIT! And I was flicked again! I woke up feeling frustrated.
Obviously this is about me. I had been trying to find answers, and direction, and was peppering God with question after question. I had several HUGE areas of my life and circumstances that I needed Him to help me with, But I was not listening very well. I thought I was having a hard time hearing Him. That is why He (GOD) flicked me when I reached him, he is re-directing me. Need to learn to wait, need to learn to dive into word, need to calm thoughts and hear. I need to retrain my mind to have a conversation. I need to ask and then wait for his answer. Yes WAIT in anticipation of His answer. He will answer. He loves to talk to us, He does it all the time, we just aren’t listening. That is one of Jesus greatest desire to have a relationship with you. He wants this type of relationship with you through the good and bad.

Isaiah 2:3 Many peoples will go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of God, to the house of the God of Jacob! He will teach us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For out of Zion will go forth the law, the word of God from Jerusalem.

I pray that Jesus will put a desire in your heart for a deeper more intimate relationship with Him. I pray that Jesus will put a desire into your heart to read and jump into His word. So many answers are simply waiting for you to crack that Bible open.

Deuteronomy 4:29 But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. I challenge you to pursue God, with all your heart. Jump in. Jesus wants to talk to you. He loves you. Jesus died on the Cross for you. He wants a relationship with you. He wants to be your best friend. I pray you will accept this awesome gift.

The next post I will talk about how, because of this dream, God began to show me how to communicate with Him better. He showed me sin in my life that I needed to get out, so that I could hear Him better. Sin separates us from Him. Sin is like putting a brick wall between you and Jesus.
