Ezekiel 33:1-6 “The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them, If I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from among them, and make him their watchman, and if he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows the trumpet and warns the people, then if anyone who hears the sound of the trumpet does not take warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning: his blood shall be upon himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.”
This is why I post what I post. I feel that I am A watchman on the tower. I believe we are in the End times, and I am only doing my watchman duty, which is warning you. I watch for certain things like the fall of morality in the world, ISIS and the persecution and murder of believers, earthquakes and natural disaster are increasing and with strength, I watch Israel news like a hawk because Israel and the Jews are a key factor in end times, pestilence and disease, celestial signs-like blood moon, wars, we are at war even though the news doesn’t say the word “WAR”, false christ’s and false prophets/’pastors teaching false doctrine, etc. I study end times prophesies and watch the news for the fulfillment of these prophesies intensely, because He has put that desire into my heart. I don’t ever consider the hours or sometimes whole days of intense study, praising and worshiping, praying, and listening to sermons to be a waste of time. Why? Because every moment I spend with Him my relationship becomes deeper and more intimate. Therefore I find it no surprise that my desire for this study is so intense, because I am looking forward to my wedding day!
Matthew 25: 1-13 “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept. But at midnight there was a cry, “Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.” Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, “Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.” But the wise answered, saying, “Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.” And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, “Lord, Lord, open to us.”But he answered, “Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.” Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.”
John 14: 1-7 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
Just like any other Fiancé here on earth looking forward to their wedding day after a long betrothal. I long for that betrothal time to be over soon, so that we can be husband and wife. I don’t want to miss that day, and I don’t want you too either! I am just trying to do what the Bible says to do, and I do it with LOVE and CONCERN, even though some might not see it that way.
I am not declaring the time or the day He is coming back. I am not saying I am “holier than thou” either. But in my zeal for deepening my relationship with God, I just can’t help but share what I am learning. I am not trying to scare anybody, but if you are scared, Proverbs 9:10 says “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.” Talk to God about everything. If you are scared tell him about it, dive into your Bible and read, so you aren’t scared!
I am warning people to get prepared, there is still time to prepare spiritually for what is to come. I am saying start watching, because that is a part of being prepared. God commands us to watch! Matt 24:42-44 “Therefore, STAY AWAKE, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have STAY AWAKE and would not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must BE READY, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect”. Mark 13:32-37 “But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.BE ON GUARD, KEEP AWAKE. For you do not know when the time will come. It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to STAY AWAKE. Therefore STAY AWAKE – for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning-lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: STAY AWAKE.”
Another way I have learned to prepare is “REJOICE always , PRAY without ceasing, give THANKS in all circumstances…” 1Thess 5:16-18 talk to God about everything. You know how you get excited about something good that happens to you, and you can’t wait to tell your best friend, or your husband or wife? You know that feeling? Well tell it to Him! Trust me He wants you to tell Him it all! He wants to be excited with you! He want’s to have a relationship with you just like a husband and a wife’s relationship! He wants to be your best friend! He wants to hear the good and the bad.! Try to have a conversation with Him all day! And repent, repent about everything. Ask Him to show you what you need to repent about, if you don’t your relationship won’t be as deep, but more superficial. If you praise and worship God for all the good AND BAD things that happen in your life, then you will understand how His Joy is our strength! Nehemiah 8:10b “And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Psalm 28:6-7 “Blessed be the Lord! For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped: my heart exults, and with my SONG I give thanks to Him.”
This is why Praise and Worship time is a part of my daily regimen. I start my day out this way so that I am joyful, that my mind is focused on Him throughout the whole day. If I miss it or can’t sing my songs my mood is horrible. Or my pain will be out of control. Sometimes music is played all day here, just so I don’t loose focus on Him. And No I am not saying you have to sing hymns all day. There is a lot of great Christian music out there. Find stuff you like, but make sure the lyrics are Biblical. Psalm 98:4-6 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody! With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King the Lord!”
Let us praise God in the hard times. Let’s build each other up! 1Thess 5: 11 “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up.” Let’s show God’s love that he has put into our hearts for each other. Let’s bless each other with our words.
But do not be deceived, Yes, God is a God of love, but He is still a just God and must judge sin!
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Romans 3:20 Therefore by the works of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
Romans 8:1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
